The Full Build. Tools in every hand.
From reading a tape measure to standing up a wall they framed themselves. No experience assumed.
Your people learn from someone who's done every job on the list. Almost 30 years in the trades. Ontario Certificate of Qualification (Floor Covering Installer), HRAI Indoor Air Quality, 15 to 20 insurance rebuilds, general contracting since 2012. Two Ontario-funded cohorts delivered for ACCES Employment.
I've delivered this course twice for ACCES Employment in the GTA, 15 to 17 people each time, funded by the Government of Ontario. For ACCES it ran as four days with the same group: two classroom days, then these two hands-on days. Day 1 is safety, plans and tools. Day 2 is six trade stations: electrical, plumbing, drywall, windows and siding, insulation, and framing.
What's proven. What's new.
- Delivered: the 2-day hands-on course, twice for ACCES Employment, 15 to 17 participants each, after two classroom days with the same group. Ontario-funded. Developed with Modulink, the modular construction company where I'm Head of Construction.
- In production: a 14-part online video series for ACCES, with quizzes and certificates.
- New, booking founding programs: Building Across Borders, six sessions for experienced newcomers. Same content and the same hands-on days, built out further.

Training is half of it. Getting hired is the point.
- Resume and LinkedIn review. End of Day 2, I sit down with every participant and go through their resume and LinkedIn. They leave with both ready to send.
- A real interview. Everyone who passes the check-off can ask for a real interview with one of the companies I work with: Modulink, Small Living Co., AIM Project Management, or one of the subcontractors I use on a regular basis, whoever's hiring. An interview, not a promise of a job, but a real one.
- Referrals. I personally refer my top people from every cohort to the subcontractors and builders I work with.
- 45- and 90-day check-ins. At 45 and 90 days I check in with every graduate: working, in construction, in training? You get the numbers for your funder report.
Don't take my word for it.
"Aaron brought a practical and engaging approach to our construction training at ACCES Employment. He did a great job breaking down tools, safety practices, and construction techniques in a way that was accessible to participants with different levels of experience."
"I just wanted to register my profound appreciation once again for your incredible training on Modular Housing and particularly on LinkedIn. You are such an amazing instructor with a golden heart."
