Aaron Markel is a builder and construction trainer based in Rockland, Ontario. He grew up in 10 countries on 4 continents, arrived in Canada knowing nothing about construction, and has spent almost 30 years on job sites since.
He founded AIM Project Management in 2012 and has since built Hammond Hill, Small Living Co., the Bourget Train Station redevelopment and Broken Stick Brewing. He is Head of Construction at Modulink. Today he also trains newcomers, students and new hires for employment programs, colleges and contractors, including government-funded cohorts with ACCES Employment and tiny home builds with Collège La Cité.
